1 cup sugar
3/4 cup of tender flake lard
2 eggs
1 cup molasses
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp, ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and place in mixer- dough will be heavy. Shape dough into small balls then roll in a small bowl of white sugar. Place on a cookie sheet, do not flatten. Bake at 350º for approximately 10 minutes. Watch as they tend to burn quickly.
