2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Icing ingredients:
1 stick butter
1/3 c. milk
3 1/2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
1 box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cake directions: Mix flour, sugar, and soda in a large bowl and set aside. In a saucepan, bring chocolate syrup, butter, water, and oil to a boil, pour over dry ingredients, and mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla, and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 11x15 pan and bake in a preheated 400º oven for 20-25 minutes.

Icing directions: Mix butter, milk, chocolate syrup, in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add vanilla, confectioners sugar, and nuts, and pour over hot cake.
