1/2 c. converted rice
1 1/3 c, water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 Tbsp butter or margarine
4 c. milk
2 - 35/8 oz. vanilla instant pudding

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice with water, salt and butter according to pkg. directions for half the basic recipe. Cool. Whip milk and pudding mixes until thickened. Fold in rice. Chill until firm. Spoon cherry pie filling over pudding. Chill. Just before serving garnish with dollop of whipped cream.
