1 cup softened butter
2 cups powdered sugar
6 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
6 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl beat the butter until smooth. Gradually add the 2 cups of powdered sugar, beating well.
Gradually beat in the cherry juice and almond extract.
Gradually beat in the 6 cups of additional sugar until combined.
If necessary, beat in additional cherry juice, 1 teaspoon at a time, to reach spreading consistency. Makes about 4 1/2 cups.
