1 T. oleo melted in pan.
add 1 T. flour stirring until browned a little
add 1 c. vinegar and stir well as it starts to boil

Beat 6 egg yolks with 1 c. sugar and 1 T. mustard 1/4 tsp. ginger.

Pour into first mixture and cook until thick.

Did I mention that Grandma McCormack was my mom's mom? She was an amazing lady and great cook. So much fun to be with. She lived in Kewanee and in the summer I would get to stay with her overnight. Her neighbors had a really mean dog and I was trapped in the yard one day by the dog. Lucky I didn't get bitten cause there were a lot of postmen with ripped pants and butt stitches.
