4 or 5 Ripe bananas
½ C Sugar
¼ C Flour
½ t Salt
1 ½ C Milk- Scalded
1 Egg beaten
1 ½ T Butter
¾ t Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients first—in top of double boiler, gradually stir in hot milk—Cook over direct heat—stir constantly---until thickened—add vanilla and butter—add hot mixture to egg a little at a time until egg feels hot, then put back into boiler and back on burner—stir constantly again for about 2 minutes, then pour into pan. Line bottom of dish with vanilla wafers, banana slices, pudding, vanilla wafers, banana slices, pudding—etc…
