1 1/2 c. dates finely cut
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs

Directions:
Stir above ingredients together and cook 5 minutes in saucepan or heavy fry pan.
Stir in 1 tsp. vanilla.
Remove from heat and stir in 2 or 3 cups of rice krispies.
Have wax paper sprinkled with coconut and drop a tsp. of mixture on it and roll around to coat and form balls.
Nuts or cherries finely chopped may be added.
