4 beaten eggs
3 c. milk
1 dash nutmeg
1 tbl. butter (original recipe said butter the size of a walnut)
1 1/2 - 3 slices stale bread broken into very fine pieces
raisins - opt.
Directions:

Combine ingredients in round baking dish and bake at 325º for an hour.
