1 c. butter
2 lg. onions, chopped
2 c. celery, chopped
2 tbl. parsley, chopped
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
12 - 13 c. slightly dry bread cubes
1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dried sage leaf
1 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. ground marjoram
2 - 2 1/2 c. chicken broth
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Melt butter in a large skillet and saute' onion, celery, parsley, and mushrooms. Pour over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl. Add all seasonings and toss well. Pour in enough broth to moisten; add beaten eggs and mix well. Pack lightly into a greased slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for one hour; reduce to low and cook 4-7 hours longer.
