1 1/2 cups Elbow Macaroni
3 Tbsp. Butter
2 Tbsp. Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
dash of Pepper
2 cups Milk
1/4 cup finely chopped Onion
8 oz. sharp American Cheese, cubed
sliced Tomato

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni until tender. Drain & set aside. Melt butter in a saucepan. Blend in flour, salt, & pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add onion and cubed cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.

Mix cheese sauce with macaroni. Turn into a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Top with sliced tomato, sprinkled with salt. Bake at 350º for 35 - 40 minutes or until heated through.

It is sometimes difficult to find "sharp" American cheese but it makes this recipe so much better!
