2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine or shortening
1 egg
3 over ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine or shortening and sugar together. Add egg, bananas and vanilla. Mix all dry ingredients together and combine with margarine, sugar, egg, bananas and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Put into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 F for 1 hour. Let cool before removing from pan.
