Ingredients:
Farmers cheese
Gyoza/Wonton wrappers (egg roll wrappers) 4 inch squares
1 egg beaten
soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cut Farmers cheese into squares about the size of your pinky finger. Place one 4 inch square Gyoza/Wonton wrapper on clean flat surface. Place cheese diagonally onto wrapper just slightly back from center line. Fold small wrapper side over cheese then gently press down side areas and fold over cheese. Wipe beaten egg lightly over remainder of wrapper and roll cheese over remainder of wrapper making sure there are no open holes to cheese. The egg will seal the gyoza from coming undone. Deep fry at 375º until lightly brown. It only takes a minute or less. Remove immediately onto a few paper towels. Dip into soy sauce. We've tried many cheeses, but Farmers is closest to the Japanese cheese. Experiment with other cheeses if you like.

This takes some time, but was always a bar favorite in Misawa.
