Filling

Mashed Potatoes
Cheddar Cheese

mix cottage cheese and same amount of mashed potatoes
grate in cheese
add salt and mix well




 

Dough

1 egg
1 c. water
3 tbsp. oil
pinch of salt
4-5 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg; Add water, oil, salt, and flour
Mix until thicker than bread dough
Roll out very thin on table, cut into 2 inch squares
Fill with 1 tsp. of filling per square
Press the dough around it to keep the filling in
Arrange on tea towel and do not let dumplings touch
To Cook fill pot 1/2 of boiling water, drop in the dumplings
One by one in boiling water, mix with wooden spoon
After they are all in, let it come to a good boil, then drian threw a screen
Put in bowls to serve add 3 to 4 tbsp. of melted margarine
Mix gently so dumplings don't stick
Serve with fired onions and sauerkraut
