1 1/2 c fine cracker crumbs
1/2 c melted butter
1 TBSP finely chopped onion
2 TBSP butter
2 TBSP flour
1 c milk (I use 1% milk)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 cups fresh or frozen corn
1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
1. Blend crumbs with butter and press into a pie tin or 9" square pan, RESERVING 1/4 c for topping.
2. Cook onion in butter, add flour and made a white sauce with milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
3. Add corn, eggs, and spices and mix well.
4. Pour into prepared crust and bake @ 400 for 35 minutes.
