2-1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. veg. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2/3 c. while chocolate chips
1/3 c. butterscotch chips
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream butter, shortening, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in large bowl. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture along with oatmeal. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 min. Allow to cool slightly on pans before removing to racks. Store in airtight container. Makes about 2-1/2 doz. large cookies to share with your friends!
