2 c Sugar
1 c Shortening
2 Eggs
1 lg spoon Vanilla
1 c Thick Sour Milk
4 t Baking Powder
2 t Baking Soda (heaping)
4 c Flour (approx.)
1/2 t salt
2 t nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, shortening, eggs, and vanilla. Add 1 cup thick sour milk. Combine dry ingredients and add gradually until dough is of rolling consistency.

Roll dough, cut out and bake at 350º on greased cookie sheet until done.

**Might have to use plenty of flour on counter and rolling pin to roll dough without it sticking
