• 3 eggs separated
• 1 – 14 oz can Eagle Brand Sweetened
condensed milk ( not evaporated milk)
• ½ cup lime juice – I use fresh. Or lemon juice for lemon pie
• 1 – Graham cracker crust

Meringue
Egg whites
• ½ teaspoon cream of tarter
• 1/3 cup sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°
With mixer, beat egg yolks in medium sized bowl. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand, lime or lemon juice Pour into pie crust
Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven. Increase oven temperature 350°

Meanwhile, for meringue With clean mixer, beat whites with cream of tarter to soft peaks. Gradually beat in sugar 1 tablespoon at a time.

I never use the meringue
It is pretty if you slice a lime very thin and garnish with twisted lime slices
