3/4 c. corn starch
1 c. (1/2 lb.) butter
1-1/4 c. flour

Mix well. Roll into small balls and press down with fork.

Bake at 350º for 10 minutes or until golden brown

You can roll the balls in coloured sugar before pressing down with a fork or press a cherry or nut on top before pressing down. These were Grandma's stand-by cookies for Christmas.
