Syrup Pecan Pie (Great Grandma Leonard)

1 c. white karl syrup

3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 unbaked pie shell
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar to flour and set aside. Add syrup to butter and mix well. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add sugar and flour mixture to that. Add spices, then pecans and mix well. Bake in unbaked pie shell in a 350 degree oven for one hour. Check to see if done by shaking pie. If it still shakes in the middle continue until it doesn’t. It will be solid and sometimes the top cracks a bit. (I usually check every 10 minutes).
