Sift:
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream:
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening

1 egg
1 c. oats
1 pkg chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Add creamed mixture to sifted mixture, then add 1 egg and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Add 1 cup rolled oats and 1 package chocolate chips. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350º.
