1 cup raisins, boiled
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup + 1 tbsp. shortening
5 tbsp. water raisins were boiled in.
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups flour
2 eggs well beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the raisins in water. Drain the water but do not throw. Mix everything in the order given.
Bake at 350º until not quite done.
