2 c granulated sugar
2 sticks butter softened to room temperature
2 eggs, beaten
1 c sour cream(we use low fat)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tbsp vanilla
4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar & butter together. Add eggs, sour cream, & vanilla. Mix baking soda, cream of tartar & flour together. Add about 1/2 flour mixture to the wet mix until blended. Then add the rest of the four mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 -12 minutes

Makes 36 - 48 cookies depending on how large you make them.

Bob's Aunt Bessie enjoyed baking and would have cookies sometimes when he would visit her. These are one of his favorites and now our family's favorite too.
