1 bone-in prime rib, 6 lbs.
5 Garlic cloves, smashed
1/4 cup grated fresh horseradish
2 fresh rosemary sprigs
4 fresh thyme sprigs
1/2 cup Kosher salt
1/4 cup fresh ground pepper
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 white wine
1 T flour
2 cups canned or homemade chicken or beef broth

Preheat oven to 350. In a large roasting pan, place rib roast bone side down. In a bowl, smash garlic, horsey, herbs, salt, pepper and olive oil to make a paste. Rub paste generously over entire rib roast. Place in oven for 1-1/2 to 2 hours for med-rare, internal temperature of 125 F. Remove from oven and let sit for 20 minutes on a cutting board.
Place pan with drippings on med heat and scrape up bottom, add wine and simmer, reduce by half. Whisk in flour, cook for a minute and add the broth and cook until sauce thickens.
Cut rib roast in between ribs, serve on plate and top with gravy. Serve with your favorite sides.
