4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 pkg. raisins
1 c. nuts - optional
Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour large tube pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture alternating with milk. Save a little of the flour mixture to flour raisins. Add these last. Bake at 325º for an hour or until a straw comes out clean.
