1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
2 T. milk
peppermint candy, crushed
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar till creamy. Beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Press with glass dipped in flour. Sprinkle with crushed candy. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
