1 C shortening
3/4 C brown sugar
3/4 C granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp water
1 pkg (12 oz milk chocolate chips)
2 eggs
2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 C nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, water and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Drop by spoonful or cookie scoop and bake for 10 minutes at 375º. Chocolate chips can be replaced by M&Ms.

These are one of Bob's favorite cookies. My family does not like the nuts so I never add nuts to the chocolate chip recipe or the M&M recipe.
