4 eggs
1/4 cup light brown sugar

Cake Directions:

Preheat oven to 350
1. Mix dry ingredient's in mixing bowl
2. Add all liquids and mix until blended well.
3. Spray bunt pan with cooking spray
4. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of cake pan
5. Pour in cake batter and lightly tap pan on counter a couple of times
6. Bake @ 350 for 45-55 minutes.
7. Remove cake from oven and place on cooling rack. Immediately poke holes in surface, using toothpicks or ice pick and spoon or drizzle glaze (see below) over cake, (reserving some for drizzling over cake after removing it from pan). Allow glaze to soak in, while cake is cooling, in the pan, on a cooling rack for at least 10-15 minutes.
8. Invert cake onto cooling rack to continue cooling. This is when you drizzle the remaining glaze over the top of cake. Some glaze may run off cake, but you can scrape it up and reapply after placing cake on cake stand.

Glaze directions: (glaze only takes 2 minutes to finish, so make it right after removing cake from oven) Glaze should be applied while it is hot.

1. Combine margarine, sugar and water in a small sauce pot and boil on high for 2 minutes.Remove from heat.
2. Add wine to above and stir well.
3. Immediately spoon or drizzle glaze (reserving some for later) over hot cake that is still in the pan. As stated above, you will already have punched holes in the entire surface of cake.
4. After removing cake from pan, drizzle the remaining glaze over top of cake.

Granny said "Be sure to remember the wine goes in the CAKE, yall."

This is Granny's most requested cake and does not last a day around her "wine loving" clan
