3 cups cornmeal mix
1/2 cup veg oil
3 eggs beaten
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 large onion chopped
1 cup cream style corn
1 1/2 cups sharp cheese, grated
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and chopped
1/2 cup chopped pimentos
1/2 cup finely chopped jalepeno peppers

Mix all ingredients well. Will need two greased skillets. Bake for 35 minutes at 400º.

This was something my great-grandmother made upon special request of the family. She always had this as well as regular cornbread. It's a family favorite.
