1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar until light. Add egg and beat well. Add four mixture (flour, baking powder, and salt) alternately with milk. Mix thoroughly. Form into roll 2 inches in diameter, wrap in waxed paper and chill for several hours before slicing with very sharp knife. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 375º
