1 c. butter softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
21/2 c. all purpose flour
2 T. orange juice
1 T. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar and egg in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Reduce speed to low; add flour orange juice vanilla and baking powder. Beat until well mixed. Divide dough into thirds and wrap in plastic wrap. chill until firm 2 hours or overnight. Heat oven to 400º. roll dough on a lightly floured surface, 1/3 at a time (keeping other dough refrigerated) 1/8 to 1/4 thickness. cut with 3 inch cookie cutters. bake 6-10 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Frost and decorate as desired.
