1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 cup pecans, finely chopped (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl cream butter, sugars and oil. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
Add flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and cream of tartar. Mix until blended then stir in pecans. Roll small balls and place on greased baking sheet, flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake in 375º oven for 10-12 minutes.
