4 to 5 lb brisket
3 T light brown sugar
4 tsp chili powder
1 T salt
2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse brisket and pat dry with paper towel to remove excess moisture. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix all ingredients together. Rub ingredients all over brisket until thick coating on entire brisket, Wrap in plastic and put in refrigerator for minimum of 6 hours. Place in smoker until temperature reaches 180 to 190 degrees. Always place fat side of brisket on grill first. Turn over occasionally until brisket is browned to your desired taste.

Don's Hint: Place bowl of water in smoker so meat doesn't dry out especially if meat is directly over heat source. Time depends on how hot your fire is and best to put on lower flame.
