1 Duncan Hines Chocolate Butter Cake Mix
1 can cherry pie filling (two cans if you would like to decorate the top of your cake)

Icing:
1 large (3-cup size) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 c. milk
1 - 12 oz. cool whip

1. Cook cake by the directions on box; except use pie filling in place of water (stir in pie filling after the cake is mixed--just before baking).

Icing:
1. Add milk to chocolate instant pudding: let stand for about 5 minutes.
2. Add cool whip to pudding.
3. Spread on cake.

To decorate cake before serving, spread small amount of cool whip on center of cake and top with a small amount of another can of cherry pie filling.
