1 cup shortening
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
4 tbsp cocoa
Bag mini marshmallows

Icing:
2 cups icing sugar
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp cocoa
4 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together ingredients for cake and pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 mins. Pull from oven and immediately add marshmallows to cover entire cake including edges. Bake for 5 more minutes or until lightly brown. Remove for oven and let cool.

Mix together ingredients for icing and spread over cooled cake.

Granny could never make this enough...we all love it! It's still one of Pat's and Trish's favorite.

The secret is to not overcook the cake portion...it's best a little chewy.
