8 oz. cream cheese
3 sticks butter
6 eggs
3 c. cake flour
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese.
Add sugar.
Alternate egg one at a time with flour.
All vanilla.
Bake in a greased tube pan @ 325 degrees; 1 1/2 hr.
Cool completely, then glaze w/powdered sugar and cream drizzled over top.
Start with room temperature ingredients.

It is a good cake, but the top is hard, crackly, and messy looking. It is easy to under cook the center so use the clean tooth pick method for testing doneness. I could never make this as good as Ruby did. She was a great cook.
