2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs - small
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Pecans - cut or whole

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars, add eggs. Mix well. Add vanilla, then flour and salt. Drop scant 1/2 teaspoon full on ungreased cookie sheet, about 1 1/2 inches apart. The cookies will spread. Put chopped or whole pecans on top. Bake at 350º for about 15 minutes, until cookies are brown around the edges. The second sheet of cookies will cook in less time. Remove from sheet at once.
