1 cake yeast
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup warm water (not hot)
1/2 cup crisco
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups warm water (not hot)
Add flour to make stiff

Directions:
Directions:
Take cake yeast, 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 cup warm water and dissolve. Best if done with your hands. Add crisco, 1/2 cup sugar and 2 cups warm water and enough flour to make stiff. Cover with towel and let rise double. After it has risen double sprinkle with salt then punch down. Add flour to make real stiff. Pan into greased pans being careful not to work dough too much. Bake @ 350 20-25 minutes. Take out of oven and butter top of rolls
