1 T olive oil
1 T real butter
1 large sweet onion (about 2 cups)
2 T honey
1/4 t cinnamon
1/2 t chili powder
1/4 C Heinz ketchup
1/2 C NYC water
1/2 t salt
1/4 t black pepper
1 t Frank's hot sauce (or more)
8 good hot dogs & very soft buns

dice onion, medium size
saute onion in oil/butter; add salt & pepper
when the onion is translucent, add everything else
simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes

This keeps in the fridge for several days
You can add this right on top of a hot dog chili sauce or kraut
