2 1/2 C. mashed, cooked Sweet Potatoes (about 2 lbs. cooked)
1/2 C. Butter, melted
3 lg. Eggs, lightly beaten
1 C. Heavy Cream, divided
1/2 C. Molasses
1/4 C. Honey
1 tsp. grated Orange peel
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
One 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
1 1/2 C. shelled pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes and butter. In medium bowl, combine eggs, 1/2 cup heavy cream, molasses, honey, orange peel, spices and salt. Mix well. Stir into sweet potatoes. Spoon mixture into pie shell. Arrange pecans on top. Bake in preheated 425º oven for 15 min. Reduce heat to 350º; bake 30 t0 35 min. longer or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, Cool completely. Whip remaining 1/2 cup cream. Serve with pie.
