1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. apple pie spice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg - beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped apples
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients and add egg, apples, vanilla, and sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add enough milk to give the texture of a thick pancake batter. Drop into hot oil (375 to 400) by the tablespoon. Turn fritters over to brown evenly. Drain on paper towels. When cool enough to handle, roll in powdered sugar. Good served warm with soft ice cream.
