3 C flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C shortening
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs/well beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
~Cream shortening & sugar until light, beat in eggs & vanilla.
~In a medium bowl add flour, baking powder & salt
~Work flour mixture into creamed shortening mix until well incorporated.
~Wrap dough in foil/cling wrap & chill
~Roll chilled mixture out onto floured surface, about 1/4 thickness. Cut with floured cookie cutters.
~Bake @ 400º for 5-8 minutes until firm & golden at edges
~Cool completely, ice & decorate.
