Tenderize 2 lbs meat and cut into serving size pieces--brown meat in 3 T bacon fat-remove meat and saute:
1/2 c onion diced
1/2 c carrots sliced thin
1/2 c celery sliced thin
1 c potatoes sliced thin--when potatoes get clear, add 1 T Worcestershire, the meat, and 1 pint tomatoes peeled.

Cover and simmer 45 min. to 1 hour

Check meat for doneness : 45 min, medium
1 hour med-well done

Note: use a tenderizer on venison about 1 hour before cooking
