1 baking chicken
salt and pepper

Dumplin's

2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2Tbs butter
1 cup milk
1egg

Directions:
Directions:
Cook/bake/boil chicken, seasoned as desired.

Blend flour, baking soda, salt, and butter together, Add milk, egg, and milk. Mix just until blended. Batter will be lumpy. Drop by spoonfuls in hot chicken broth. Cook until dumplins puff up and are dry in the center. Approx 15 minutes. Mix 2 Tbs of flour into 1/2 cup milk. Whisk until blended well. Once dumplins are cooked, slowly pour milk/flour mixture in with dumplins and stir continually until thick. Can serve alone, or add pieces of chicken to dumplins.

This was my favorite meal that my Grandma would fix. Later my Mom would fix it for my birthday meal. Lightest, fluffiest dumplins you'll ever have!
