½ cup shortening
½ cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs beaten
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening, add peanut butter then eggs. Add remaining ingredients.
Shape in small balls, place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Press 2 ways with fork to flatten mark. Bake at 375 degrees.
