1/2 cup cornstarch
1 cup flour
1/2 cup icing sugar
3/4 cup butter

Preheat oven to 350º f

Mix dry ingredients together and cream in butter. Roll between wax paper approx 1/4 inch thick. Cut out shapes . Bake 15-20 minutes until edges are just lightly brown.

These cookies are a Christmas favourite and are ONLY made at Christmas. I remember a double batch of these one year as a teenager...only I forgot to double the butter! I knew the dough was too dry do I added water..YUCK!!! The whole batch went into the garbage.
