10 lb ground beef, browned
4 c chopped onions
1 Kroger dry chili mix
1 chili ready beans
2 lg cans kidney beans
2 lg tomato puree
1 garlic clove minced
salt, pepper, chili powder to taste
1/2 bushel fresh tomatoes (mixed red and yellow from Mark’s Garden) rinsed
1 catsup bottle after emptying it (approx 1/2 cup of catsup then 1/2 c water)

Directions:

Put into electric roaster and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

Here is my small batch of Chili for family:
1 1/2 lb ground beef, browned
2 med onion chopped
1 can kidney beans
1 quart canned tomatoes
2 tbls catsup
salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic salt to taste
