16 whole graham crackers
1/4 c granulated sugar
1/4 c butter, melted
4 tsp flour
1/2 c plus 2 tbsp sugar
2 c milk
3 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Combine crushed graham crackers, with 1/4 cup sugar and melted butter. Mix well. Using 3/4 of the crumb mixture, press into the bottom and up the sides of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Set the remainder of the crumbs aside for later. Combine flour and 1/2 cup sugar in a double boiler. Add milk. Bring to a boil. Beat egg yolks and combine with 1/2 cup of the boiling milk mixture. Pour back into the remaining hot milk mixture and heat back up to a boil. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes stirring the whole time. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into graham cracker-lined dish. Sprinkle with the remainder of the cracker crumbs and 2 tablespoons sugar. Bake at 350° F for 15 minutes. Cool before serving.
