Ingredients:
Angel Food Cake
Original instructions have you slice 1 loaf angel food cake into 16 slices. (slice thick as a slice of bread) I bake angel food cake in a 9 x 12 or 13 inch pan for about 40 minutes. Turn over immediately (water glasses on corners to cool). Then I slice horizontally when cooled with serrated knife (slices best if frozen). Slice either way, one gives you a thicker slice or cut so you have 3 slices.

Layer slices of cake with the following mixture:
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 large Kraft cream cheese softened (not all off brands thicken)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugar, milk and softened cream cheese until thicken and fluffy. Start on a low speed and finish on high (may take several minutes). Fold in 10 oz whipped topping. Top with a spoon of cherry pie filling or fruit of your choice. Original recipe from Winnie Cole, given to Helen Paradine and revised by Nora Meredith!
