1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c butter
1/4 c lard
1/2 tsp soda
2 1/2 c flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar till fluffy. Add all ingredients to sugar mixture. Drop or roll and cut out on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° F for 8 to 10 minutes.

Tip: Though Grandma Bobb’s recipes do not always state it, I do remember always sifting dry ingredients.
