Fantastic! The kids used to sneak in the shed where we kept all our canned goods and open a jar, sit right down and eat the whole thing. |

Notes: Not too many pictures exist of Grandma and Grandpa together after we were married. Grandma got a divorce while she still had 4 girls at home. She had never driven a car, but she taught herself and went most anyplace she wanted plus she got a job. All she had ever done was work in the fields and take care of the house and 7 kids. She also raised her mentally challenged grandson Joey. She was one of the strongest women I have ever known. Proud to say she was my mother-in-law.
